But currently, I am seeing a new trend emerging, which is that of web series. You must have watched the posters like Bhaukaal, Guilty, Breathe Into The Shadows, Ashram, etc printed on Metro stations and hoardings. Now, what is so special about it. Has it become a new trend of entertainment?
Impact On Viewers
To some extent, I would say yes, they have captured people’s interest in a series of episodes. They come up with interesting subjects. As for an example, Bhaukaal on Max Player. This web series has been inspired by the life of Navneet Sekera, a well-known IPS officer. Actors like Abhishek Bachhan and Bobby Deol too have roped in for getting a meaty role in web series like Breathe into the shadows and Ashram. There are other known faces from Bollywood like Kiara Advani who have acted in the web series named ‘Guilty’. So what is prompting these stars to bag their role in web series? Well, it is the script which grabs the attention of actors as well as the viewers like us to watch it.
These web series are away from the usual love triangle stuff and all that crackling action scenes which we have been watching in usual Bollywood movies.
