Early life:
Sushmita Sen was born on 19 November 1975 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India, which is now a part of Telangana, to Shubeer Sen and Subhra Sen. She was brought up in a middle class, bengali Baidya family. Her father Shubeer Sen was a Indian Air Force Wing Commander, by profession and her mother Subhra Sen was a jewellery designer.
She was brought up in a family of five along with her siblings Neelam (sister) and Rajeev (brother). Sushmita was sent to St. Ann’s High School in Secunderabad, from where she completed her schooling. She did not pursue any further educational degree.
